Receive-only Igate
Set this parameter under the desired PORT configuration block to prevent any gating from APRS-IS to RF. This parameter also suppresses the IGate status message from being broadcast out through this port.

It may be there is a need for the special case of wanting to send and/or receive aprs-is packets but not gate anything to rf, thus becoming a receive only igate. There seems to be a school of thought that rx only igates are a bad idea as they can break messaging, but there may be good reasons, including licencing restrictions, to have one.
