The short answer is yes!
Vocals, Lyrical arrangements
It is really quite in it’s infancy, but the one area of music where I am testing the water with is vocal music, music with custom written lyrics.
I have had a few attempts so far at a reasonable vocal track with Pricilla Hernandez, however dispite her amazing work it’s been very difficult to get it ‘just right’, which is something I really want to work on.
Vocal work is especially difficult in the genres that I aspire to, so for me as an artist – working closely with a vocalist (albeit far away in Spain!) is a steep but rewarding experience.
Keep your eyes peeled for vocal releases this 2004!
Collaborations
In 2002, a fellow artist and ultimatly a fan of Mike Oldfield sent in a guitar piece to overlay on one of my own compositions, ‘Retrospective‘. The artist Keol – José Miguel Serrano is spectacular on guitars and came up with some superb riffs.
I myself cannot play guitar yet it is one of the instruments I really love to hear, and I do try my best to make my guitaring in my songs sound realistic. However, nothing beats the real thing 🙂 Kudos to Keol of South America!
