Linking

Hello, please do not publicly link this page.

AXUDP Mapping

There are two nodes, one is for redundancy and works differently than the main node, it is recommended to configure both.

Primary

  • Callsign: PE1RRR-7
  • DNS: static.ehvairport.com
  • Port: 10093
  • Proto: UDP
  • Broadcasts: Yes Please

BPQ-style mapping:

MAP PE1RRR-7 static.ehvairport.com UDP 10093 B

Secondary

  • Callsign: PE1RRR-5
  • DNS: rrrnet.ehvairport.com
  • Port: 10093
  • Proto: UDP
  • Broadcasts: Yes Please

BPQ-style mapping:

MAP PE1RRR-5 rrrnet.ehvairport.com UDP 10093 B

This secondary node will allow any node to connect in to it but will not publish nodes sent TO it, this is because it is an auto-mapping node for contingency plans. You will still receive a broadcasted node-table and be able to access the network. This mechanism just prevents rogue nodes from sending pollution upstream.

Reciprocation

In order for PE1RRR-7 to engage a link, both parties need to have mappings configured and loaded.

A useful command for BPQ users to be aware of is ‘EXTRESTART’. When sent from the terminal with the port number and the parameter ‘1’, it will reload the AXIP map table, thus avoiding a node restart.

EXTRESTART <port> 1
