New Release: Let’s Go!

Sunset Panorama

Now available on all digital platforms for easy and cheesy-peas access is Let’s Go! A short but sweet 30 minute EP, (that means Extra Peas). The tracks are designed to be shuffled, the track list puts the music in an order of moods-

From motivational dream beat to optimistic, good vibes riding a traditional folk rock track, literally the embodiment of the phrase “Let’s Go!”. Surfing into the night taking flight into a thunderstorm to flying above the clouds is Into The Night. The track Keep Going is a powerful grab you by the cheeks and squeeze your face track interspersed with zen inducing contrasting new-age oldfieldisms to give you a breather before getting back to the grind.

Jupiter Descending – a cyberpunk fictional vision of the future of AI, or is it… 👀

Included in this EP is the single Hanami Nights, since she should be heard. Just wait for the drop. It’ll put you in a good place.

Genres: New Age, Prog Rock, Electronic with traditional Japanese influences & more.

X My Pi!

Remastered with fully re-recorded material directly from a real Commodore Amiga, composed in AHX Tracker.

Have an Amiga and would like to try out AHX yourself? Grab the AHX User Manual Redux from GitHub. Dale over at dope.fish put the printable booklet PDF manual together with the help of numerous contributions (mine included!) making it a superb resource to pick up & print.

Many of these tunes exploit bugs (out of bounds parameters) to cause some glitch effects. Naturally, emulators/PC-playback routines didn’t anticipate this and summarily crashed to pieces when these were first released.

If you have a fairly up-to-date copy of XMPlay with the hivelytracker-ahx plugin, you should be golden to play the original source files, available here:

Hivelytracker

An updated version of AHX for high-end Amigas, supporting up to 16 channels of AHX synthesis- Hivelytracker. Compatible with AHX and has its own format (HVL) for advanced synthesis such as ring-modulation.

Hanami Nights

There is something quite addictive about this new release by RedHeat, it’s called Hanami Nights and has that delicate eastern flavour within the music that is so appealing. The build and progression of this single and its electronic nature is pristine and beautifully produced.

RedHeat has indeed manifested something very special in this moody, yet exciting offering, one that I am sure listeners would be more than eager to purchase; this is a wonderfully fluent and colourful single indeed and one that I personally rate very highly.

by Steve Sheppard – One World Music Radio.

Strawberry Fields

After a year of self isolation to keep Ilona-Ruby safe during her chemo and radiotherapy, we finally took our first steps back out into the world- keeping it very local as Ilona-Ruby’s stamina was shot to pieces. Slowly but surely, we got a breath of fresh air and a moment to live once again in our own back garden.

June 2019, just before our 21st Anniversary she was given the all-clear after a very testing 6 months of darkness and uncertainty. We are glad the winter is over.

The music is a piece called Strawberry Fields and is a reflection of the awakening from darkness. Please enjoy our back garden with us.

Behold the wise lion as it bops along to authentic Chinese traditional vocal reggae song –

Bringing a young child’s (Izzi Rambelje, aged 5) drawing of a lion to full 3D glory, literally the cutest sunshine head in the world.

Please Hold

Better to live to leap another day.

This is about hope, good vibes, expectations & the often complicated reality of rocket launches.

Live recorded the interaction, while I was composing and producing the graphics for this while tweeting with the company CEO. Not only that but the cat brought a live mouse into the house at 2AM, let it loose and I had time to catch that too (its in the video, briefly). Bless.

Patiently waiting on a 2 hour delayed, then eventually scrubbed launch for a DeltaV rocket containing one of my beloved spacecraft (well that is what I’d like you to believe *ahem*).

Good Morning!

Created on new year’s eve 2017. Perhaps a reflection of our long journey so far.

Travelling between planets in suspended animation, its time for the (fictional) lone captain to awaken the rest of the crew… Happy 2018!
