This is about hope, good vibes, expectations & the often complicated reality of rocket launches.
Live recorded the interaction, while I was composing and producing the graphics for this while tweeting with the company CEO. Not only that but the cat brought a live mouse into the house at 2AM, let it loose and I had time to catch that too (its in the video, briefly). Bless.
Patiently waiting on a 2 hour delayed, then eventually scrubbed launch for a DeltaV rocket containing one of my beloved spacecraft (well that is what I’d like you to believe *ahem*).
The pieces on this album were composed over a number of years between 2003 and 2006, each piece describes instrumentally a place and time in the artist’s life, transporting the listener through ethereal mysterious discoveries to crusades and adventures across a soundscape befitting of a fantasy realm.
The follow up album to the early debut- Outer Circle, continuing with a variety of eclectic, powerful, peaceful and pleasant pieces composed in the amateur home studio of RedHeat during the period 2002-2003.
Initially released on the original MP3.com platform back in the late 90s/early 2Ks the album was critically acclaimed reflected by good sales and reception in the New Age genre. After the collapse of MP3.com (CEO Michael Robertson) the album faded into obscurity due to lack of distribution. The album was put up for free download for many years via the RedHeat website.
